The Best Family Cars, According to Kelley Blue Book

It’s getting harder and harder to pick a “best” new vehicle these days, since the quality and features of nearly every new vehicle sold has reached a high level in recent years. There aren’t many lemons being built, and the differences among various models is often quite small.

Still, there has to be a “Best” in each category and who better to pick them than Kelley Blue Book?

The vehicle valuation specialists recently delved into the competitive family vehicle category, and made their choices.

One big trend is clear:

“Looking at sales trends, soccer field parking lots and school drop-off lines, it’s clear that families have moved on from the family sedan, and now the modern family car is an SUV,” said Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book.

So, we’ll cut to the chase and let you know that KBB picked the 2017 versions of the Honda CR-V, Subaru Outback, Kia Sportage and Honda HR-V as the best two-row SUVs on the market (in descending order or popularity, according to sales).
