Tech Jobs: Will The Pay Get Even Better?

Jobs in the technology field are known for paying well, and offering a measure of security that is rare in today’s job market. Findings from new survey from staffing firm Robert Half Technology suggest that things might get even better in this field.

Robert Half Technology interviewed chief information officers (CIOs), and found that one in five believe that salaries are too low given the workload, while 63% believe salaries are fair due to shortage of talent.

Most of them (81%) believe that he workload placed on technology professionals has increased from five years ago.

This adds up to a situation where demand for the work exceeds supply, and suggests that young, qualified tech professionals will have some good opportunities in the years ahead.
