Summer Brings Hotter Deals on New Cars

Car makers are offering some attractive incentives and lease deals these days, according to Cars.com. These deals make buying a new vehicle a bit easier on the wallet, but they do come with expiration dates.

Cars.com broke their findings up into three categories: Finance Incentives, Cash Incentives and Lease Incentives.

The best Finance Incentives include the 2014 Kia Forte (0% financing for 60 months plus $500 bonus cash, Expires on Sept. 2), the 2014 Mercedes-Benz ML 350 (2.99% APR for 24-72 months, Exp. July 31), 2014 Cadillac SRX (0% APR for 60 months, Exp. Sept. 2), 2014 Honda Civic (0.9% APR for 24-36 months, Exp. Aug. 2), 2014 Mazda MAZDA3 (0.9% APR for 36 months, Exp. July 31).

Among Cash Incentive offers, Cars.com made top picks including: the 2014 Dodge Caravan SE (up to $1,000 cash allowance, Exp. Aug. 4), 2015 Volvo S60 (up to $1,500 cash allowance, Exp. Sept. 2), 2014 Lincoln Navigator (up to $3,000 cash allowance, Sept. 30), 2014 Ford F-150 SuperCab (up to $3,250 cash allowance, Exp. Sept. 2) and 2014 Ram 1500 (up to $3,500 cash allowance, Exp. Aug 4).

Top Lease Incentives include: 2014 Cadillac CTS ($459/month for 36 months with $4,299 down, 10,000 miles/year, Exp. Sept 2), 2014 Nissan Altima ($189/month for 36 months with $1,999 down, 12,000 miles/year, Exp. July 31), 2014 GMC Acadia ($299/month for 39 months, $2,159 down, 10,000 miles/year, Exp. July 31), 2014 Jetta ($199/month for 36 months, $2,349 down, 12,000 miles/year, Exp. July 31), 2014 Subaru Forester ($239/month for 36 months with $1,939 down, 12,000 miles/year, July 31) and 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4×2 ($279/month for 36 months with $3,699 down, 12,000 miles/year, Exp. Aug. 4).

As you can see, some of these programs are expiring very soon. Of course, the way these things work you’ll likely see a whole new crop of factory incentives deals coming later in the year. So, if you’re hesitant to commit to buying or leasing right now, keep your money in your pocket. Don’t let expiring offers push you into something that doesn’t work with your family budget.
