Is College Still a Good Investment?
The rising cost of a college education has prompted many to question whether higher education still represents a good investment.
To get to the bottom of what students and grads think, Bankrate.com recently conducted a poll.
Perhaps not surprisingly, it found that 89% of college graduates say that their college education is a good investment.
In general, nearly three quarters (73%) of all Americans consider college to be a worthwhile venture.
Of this group, younger millennials (age 18-25) are the most supportive of investing in a college degree (88%).
However, (and this is also not really surprising), 62% of Americans support making college tuition free for all.
