Dangerous Drivers — Who May Not Even Know It

There are 47 million vehicles on the road with at least one unfixed safety recall, Carfax has found. Each one of these vehicles is at risk of an accident due to defects that can be fixed.

Worse yet, the number of un-fixed cars has increased.

In fact, there has been a net increase of more than one million of the unfixed vehicles from last year.

Carfax said that drivers in Texas, Mississippi, Alaska, Utah or West Virginia are the most likely to have an unfixed recall. SUVs or minivans are the most likely vehicle types to be driving around in this condition.
