Black Friday Makes a Comeback
Remember when Black Friday was considered “over”? It seems like just a year or two ago that everyone was shunning the craziness of Black Friday, with its doorbuster deals and near-riot conditions. The latest polls would indicate that this rejection didn’t take.
For instance, the latest Shoppers Trend Report finds that two in five (40%) consumers think that Black Friday — out of all the biggest sale days during the holiday season – represents their best opportunity to save.
So, it’s no surprise that this year, a full 55% of American consumers plan to shop on Black Friday, either online or in-store.
It turns out that stories about the demise of Black Friday were premature. After a couple of years of fatigue, the shoppers are back.
