The U.S. had 43.5 million mothers between the ages of 15 and 50 in 2014, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

These mothers gave birth to 95.8 million children.

In 2015 3.9 million women between the ages of 15 and 50 in 2015 had given birth in the past 12 months.
