Where Millennials Work Happy
A new study ranks the top ten workplaces in the U.S. for young people based on employee assessment surveys.
San Francisco advisory services firm Great Place to Work said it put its proprietary assessment tools to work finding the best companies for workers under 35 years old (Millennials) on its Great Rated site.
According to the firm, the #1 workplace was professional services firm Intuitive Research and Technology, followed by homebuilder David Weekley Homes.
Others in the top 10 included payment processor Allied Wallet, Ultimate Software, Google, DPR Construction, The Boston Consulting Group, insurer Acuity, Quicken Loans and World Wide Technology.
What were the criteria that put companies in the top 10? Great Rated CEO Kim Peters said, “These companies have found that meaningful work, ethical and caring management and generous compensation make young employees feel comfortable and excited about work.”
So, if you are a young job seeker, the companies on this list might be worth looking into.
