Go Out and Vote!

Today – Tuesday November 6 — is Election Day in the U.S. All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested. That’s in addition to the local races in your state, county and city or town that have a big impact on your life.

So take the time to vote today.

Don’t be a cynic and say, “my vote doesn’t mean anything”. This election more than others, every vote will count. This is because there are so many close races this mid-term.

Remember that so many Americans have died defending your right to vote. In fact, there are thousands of Americans defending that right, right now.

There are also hundreds of thousands of volunteers working the polls across the nation, making sure that you can cast your vote today.

So, while voting is about individual choice (yours), it’s also about community. All of which is to say, Get out and vote!”
