Car Sales Rebound
July brought smiles to car dealer’s faces across the land, as sales rebounded from their June slump.
According to Kelley Blue Book, new-vehicle sales in July came within 1% of their record-setting July 2015 level.
This may seem a bit of a disappointment, but it is sweet news considering the disappointing sales performance posed in June.
July new car sales were back in 17.5 million range, seasonally adjusted.
Overall, it’s been a very good year: KBB said that sales in the first half of the year totaled 8.6 million units, which was the highest first-half volume since 2001.
