A Pet-Friendly Workplace is a Happy Workplace
Some new research finds that pet-friendly workplace policies create healthier, happier companies.
Banfield Pet Hospital has released its first ever Pet-Friendly Workplace PAWrometer (pets at work barometer) survey – and the results are surprising.
The company surveyed both employees and human resources decision-makers, and found broad agreement that pets can have a positive impact on the workplace.
For instance, 70% of employees and 77% of HR professionals said that pet-friendly workplaces have a positive impact.
Vast majorities of both groups say that pets boost morale, and even contribute to talent retention and loyalty.
So, if your employer is clinging to an old-fashioned “no pets at work” policy, here’s some hard data that makes the case for a pet-friendly workplace.
